Petaluma Coffee Company opened in 1989 as a small, retail coffee roastery. The people in our business, and the quality of our products have always been our passion. From the beginning we have insisted on using only high quality, carefully selected Arabica coffee beans, roasted in small batches of 10 to 20 pounds. Our dedication to the people in our business includes not only our customers, our employees, and our local community, but the inclusive network of coffee growing families, and coffee shippers and traders around the world. Our business could not succeed without all of them. Quite early in our business we began filling requests from cafes, delis, and others for wholesale orders. In 1999 we purchased Windward Tea Company, a tea and tea accessories importing business. In June 2001 we sold the original retail coffee cafe to a long time, trusted employee, in order that we could invest more energy in coffee roasting, retail and wholesale bean sales, and tea and tea accessories sales. | |||
