ABOUT US

The Petaluma Coffee and Tea Company has been providing high quality Arabica coffee beans, premium teas, and coffee and tea accessories for retail and wholesale customers since 1989. All of our coffee beans are imported green and custom roasted in 10 to 20 pound batches by our Roastmaster. We serve customers local and nationwide. Our retail cafe is located in Petaluma's Downtown Historic Warehouse District and here you will find some good company sharing a warm atmosphere surrounded by welcoming aromas.

NEW Roastmaster Series: Bali Kintamani Natural ☕ NEW Roastmaster Series: Bali Kintamani Natural ☕️ Not just an exotic destination we all wish we could go to… this coffee is a heavy hitter. 🌱Grown in volcanic soil among citrus trees, and irigated via a 1,000 year old ecologically sustainable system. This natural coffee came as a result of a rare issue of water scarcity in Indonesia. ⭐️The result is fantastic combining the favorite characteristic of a Moka Java blend in a Single Origin. 🍒Cherry forward on the palate with a delightful banana note, and rounded out with chocolate and leather. 💪🏼Structured body and smooth finish make for a complete package…like a young Robert Redford, or an old one for that matter, this one is timeless. #petalumacoffee

We will be closing early today to celebrate the li We will be closing early today to celebrate the life of our good friend Tim Talamantes. Tim was not just a customer, he was family to us all. You could find him always sitting in the middle of the room chatting up old friends or making new ones. He loved to share his deep knowledge of Petaluma history, love of food, horticultural tips, and so so so much more. The place isn’t the same without him, but so much better because of him. We will miss you Big Guy.💜 A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 2pm March 5th at Two Rock Presbyterian Church.

Call for Community 📣 Our dear friend Mark Mali Call for Community 📣 Our dear friend Mark Malicki has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma a very aggressive and fast growing brain cancer (yes, more brain cancer). Up until his diagnosis and emergency brain surgery in late May, Mark was a rich part of our Northbay community as a local chef and all around amazing human. You may have eaten his food at the Tea Room pop up de Havilland, Casino, and Out The Door just to name a few. Since Mark is no longer able to work and facing a mountain of medical bills, he could really use our support. Mark has ALWAYS been one to lend a hand, donate food, and rally around those who needed a little help and kindness- now it’s our turn to do the same for him. After 4 years of dedication, hard work, and fun, o After 4 years of dedication, hard work, and fun, our sweet Sophia is leaving PCT to spread her wings and chase her dreams. To say we will all miss her is an understatement. 🥹 She came to us during a time of transition and change after the pandemic in 2021. Her ideas, support, and hard work have helped bring PCT into a new era. We are forever grateful. 💜 Now she is off to expand her fashion empire @poofistudio and to teach sewing/crochet classes at @goodroompetaluma (all of which you can join!) Her last day is Thursday- so swing by to wish her luck! New faces behind the counter coming soon…
